Srinagar: Police in Srinagar have solved a burglary case within 24 hours and recovered stolen goods from two thieves, police said Thursday.
It said acting on a complaint of one Naseer Ahmed Bhat of Deviangan Hawalabout the burglary at his house, a case was registered, and during investigation, police arrested two thieves — Mohammad Shamim Boya, son of Mohammad Mamoom Boya of Gangarampur, District Ulbarya, West Bengal, and Mohammad Sahil Sheikh, son of Mohammad Sahib Ali Sheikh of Alipora Narala, Sector-8 Delhi.
The stolen property was recovered from their possession December 18, 2024, police said, adding that further investigation into the case is going on.
