BWJA and NKJA condole demise of Haji Mohammad Yousuf Wani

Baramulla: The Baramulla Working Journalists Association (BWJA) and North Kashmir Journalists Association (NKJA) express their deepest condolences to senior journalist Syed Fayaz Bukhari of Kashmir Uzma and Voice of Kashmir Urdu (VoK Urdu) on the sad demise of his father-in-law, Haji Mohammad Yousuf Wani.

In a condolence meeting, BWJA Chairman Karamat Qayoom, General Secretary Umar Rashid, Chief Spokesman Altaf Baba, Core Group Member Anzhar Mujoo, and other senior members extended their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.

“We stand united with our esteemed colleague Fayaz Bukhari during this moment of profound grief and express our solidarity with his family,” said BWJA Chairman Karamat Qayoom.

The association prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear this irreplaceable loss.

After holding condolence meeting Chairman NKJA, BWJA Karamat Qayoom, General Secretary Umar Rashid, Chief Spokesman Altaf Baba, Core group member Anzhar Muhjoo and other senior members of BWJA expressed condolence and solidarity with Fayaz Bukhari and extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

“BWJA stands with its senior member and correspondent Kashmir Uzma Fayaz Bukhari in this hour of grief and expresses solidarity with the bereaved family,” said Chairman NKJA, BWJA Karamat Qayoom.

During the condolence meeting, BWJA members prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in peace and grant strength to the family to bear the loss.

Condolences continued to pour in over the sad demise of the father-in-law of Fayaz Bukhari, Mohammad Yousuf Wani, of Zandafaran passed away on Sunday late afternoon after a prolonged illness as he was suffering from adenocarcinoma.

Large number of people from a cross-section of society visited the family on the second day to condole the demise of his wife. Various journalists, social, political and religious organizations have expressed their condolences and prayed for eternal peace departed soul.

President Baramulla Working Journalist Association (BWJA) who was flanked by Vice President Nisar Yatoo, senior core group member and former president Sajad Hussain Pir and Mudasir Malla attended funeral prayers besides expressed condolence and solidarity with Fayaz Bukhari besides extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

Chairman BWJA Karamat Qayoom speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of death and the lessons it teaches for all human beings to taste death.

“I appeal to all the media fraternity that we too are answerable before Allah for our deeds and journalists must understand they too have to adhare to journalist ethics and norms,” he added.

A large number of people from a cross-section of society visited the family on the second day to condole the demise. Various journalists, social, political and religious organizations have expressed their condolences and prayed for eternal peace departed soul. Condolences and prayer meetings were held throughout the day in which rich tributes and homage were paid to the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Chairman Human Aid Society Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Mir and Bureau Chief Kashmir Images Reyaz Rashid, KPS Bureau Chief Majeed Sheeri, KNS Correspondent and editor Kashmir Post Manzoor Sheeri also expressed their condolences and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in peace and grant strength to the family, especially Fayaz Bukhari to bear the loss.

Kashmir Images and SNS Kashmir expressed their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

National Conference District President Advocated Shahid Ali Shah flanked by Block President Abdul Majeed Akhoon conveyed their grief and solidarity with the family. JKNC Vice President North Kashmir Dr. Sajjad Shafi Uri also expressed his condolences, offering prayers and strength to the bereaved family.

Dr. Sajjad Shafi Uri stated, “In this moment of sorrow, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Fayaz Bukhari and his family, praying for their fortitude in the face of this tremendous loss.”

Large number of people participated in the funeral prayers of the young student at her ancestral graveyard Wednesday late evening. People from cross section society including socio-economic, political, law and religious organizations have expressed their condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family and noted journalist Fayaz Bukhari of Kashmir Uzma.
