Javed Rana, who was Chief Guest on the occasion, said that it is a proud moment for all of us that an NGO is doing commendable job for the welfare of needy people.

In his address, the Minister applauded the selfless efforts of the Tawi Welfare Society to serve the underprivileged. “Initiatives like this reflect the true spirit of humanity and social responsibility. I commend the NGO for their noble work in reaching out to those in need and contributing significantly to improving healthcare access,” said Javid Rana.

He also highlighted the role of NGOs in bridging the gaps between government and private sector services and said that NGOs like the Tawi Welfare Society complement the efforts of the government towards providing quality services to the people.

He assured continued support from the administration for initiatives aimed at public welfare and encouraged more organizations to come forward with similar programs.

The Minister also said that the government is committed towards the welfare of its people and will take every step aimed towards the progress of the nation.

“It is our duty to hear and provide solutions to the people’s problems. We are committed to providing development-oriented governance to the people,” he added. He further added that we all must stand united and defeat the divisive forces that aim to divide us.

He said that all the issues like fencing, and eco-park concerning the NGO will be resolved on a priority basis and passed on-spot instructions to the officers for the same.

Javed Rana also urged the Tawi Welfare Society to raise awareness about pressing social issues of the day for the benefit of the local community.

The camp, aimed at providing free eye check-ups, consultations and treatment to the underserved sections of society, received an overwhelming response from the local community. The week-long camp witnessed the participation of expert ophthalmologists from Government Hospital Gandhinagar who performed check-ups and more than 40 patients were operated upon.

The ceremony concluded with vote of thanks from the NGO’s representatives, who expressed gratitude to Minister Javid Rana for his encouragement and to the medical team and volunteers for their tireless contributions.
