Srinagar: The 17th Kashmir Bodybuilding Championship and 7th Men’s Physique Sports Championship concluded with great enthusiasm at Tagore Hall, Srinagar. Organized by the Kashmir Body Building Association (KBBA, J&K) in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, the event saw participation from 45 contestants representing districts across the Kashmir Valley.
Salim clinched the title of “17th Mr. Kashmir 2024” and was awarded a cash prize of ₹11,000, while Fitrat was declared the champion in the Men’s Physique Sports category.
The event was inaugurated by Rajesh Datta, General Secretary of Body Building Association J&K (BBAJ&K). The chief guest, Tanveer Sadiq, MLA, graced the occasion and distributed prizes among the winners, encouraging participants for their dedication and hard work.
The championship provided a platform for athletes from the region to showcase their talent and reinforced the importance of physical fitness and bodybuilding in promoting a healthy lifestyle.
