Children’s Day celebrated at Islamic Educational Institute Najan Beerwah

Srinagar: In a vibrant celebration at Islamic Educational Institute Najan Beerwah, students and staff came together to honor Children’s Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, known for his deep affection for children.

The day was marked by a series of lively and educational events, underscoring the importance of children’s rights and quality education. Students showcased their creativity and skills through an array of activities, including:

Cultural Performances: Colorful songs, dances, and skits that emphasized the value of children’s rights and the role of education.

Art and Craft Exhibition: An impressive display of student artwork and handmade crafts, reflecting their talent and imagination.

Debate and Quiz Competitions: Competitions designed to test and challenge students’ knowledge on various topics, encouraging them to think critically and engage actively.

During the event, the institute’s principal, Tanveer Ahmed Banday, spoke passionately about the responsibility of nurturing young minds. “Children are the future of our nation, and it’s our duty to equip them with the knowledge, values, and skills they need to thrive,” he emphasized, highlighting the institute’s commitment to providing quality education and instilling lifelong values in its students.

Parents, local dignitaries, and community members attended the event, applauding the institute’s dedication to children’s education and welfare. Their presence added to the significance of the celebration, creating a supportive atmosphere for the students.

The celebration concluded with a prize distribution for competition winners and a heartfelt message from Principal Banday, calling on the community to ensure that every child has access to quality education and the opportunity to achieve a bright future.
