SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, today chaired a meeting of Revenue Officers and Executing agencies to discuss and resolve ongoing issues related to revenue land.

Besides, Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM East, SDM West, SE R&B PWD Circle Srinagar North/South along with Executive Engineers, Joint Commissioner Works SMC, SE Hydraulic along with Executive Engineers, SE KPDCL Circle I/II along with executive Engineers, ACD Srinagar along with BDOs, all Tehsildars, and other District and Sectoral Officers.

At the outset, the DC highlighted the urgency of addressing pending revenue land matters and stressed the importance of resolving them within the current financial year to avoid delays and ensure efficient land administration.

To facilitate the execution of work smoothly, the DC directed Revenue Officers to address all issues discussed in the meeting.

Furthermore, the DC emphasized the need for improved coordination between Revenue Officials and the executing agencies involved in land-related developmental matters.

Revenue officers were also instructed to maintain close and regular communication with these agencies to identify and resolve any challenges or bottlenecks that may arise during the execution of land-related tasks.
