Anantnag: A fire broke out in Jama Masjid in Khanbal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
An official told news agency NVI that fire broke out in Jama Masjid Khanabal which spread to nearby residential houses and caused damage.
He said that Fire and Emergency Services personnel were on the spot to control the flames and prevent further spread.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and no injuries have been reported so far, the official said, adding that further details are awaited.
