Srinagar: A young man was stabbed and injured by another young man in the SP College ground Tuesday, police said.
Police said the victim identified as Momin Ahmad Dar, son of Riyaz Ahmad Dar, resident of Anantnag, and currently putting up at Basant Bagh Habba Kadal, has informed the police that he was stabbed by one Arslan Aijaz, son of Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, resident of Barbarshah.
Dar was stabbed in the left abdomen and head and is presently interned at SMHS hospital where his condition is stable, police said, adding a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Kothibagh. Police have also apprehended the accused Arslan and further investigation is under progress.
