Vigilance Awareness Week: J&K Police holds ‘Pledge taking Ceremonies’ across JK

Srinagar: To commemorate ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ J&K Police organised pledge taking ceremonies at all the Police establishments across Jammu and Kashmir.

The main function was held at Police Headquarters Srinagar where ADGP (Headquarters/Coordination) PHQ Shri M.K Sinha administered the integrity pledge to the staff of PHQ. IG (POS) PHQ, Shri B.S Tuti, DIG (Personnel) PHQ Shri Mubassir Latifi, all AIsG and other officers of PHQ attended the oath taking ceremony.

During the pledge ceremony, all the officers/jawans pledged to work with zeal in maintaining highest standards of integrity, transparency and good governance besides, eradicating corruption and oppose all forms of corruption. Moreover, it was also pledged neither to offer nor to accept bribe, rather to foster a culture of honesty and integrity.

The day was also observed in all districts, Unit and Wing headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir Police where concerned Police heads administered oath to Jawans and officers at these functions.
