MHA organises NZC standing committee meeting at Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH: The Ministry of Home Affairs, North Zone Council, organised the 21st meeting of the Standing Committee on North Zone Council at Chandigarh.

The meeting organised by the MHA and hosted by the Government of Haryana was a precursor to the NZC meeting being chaired by the Union Home Minister in November to discuss and resolve various inter-state issues.

Haryana Chief Secretary, TVSN Prasad chaired the meeting which was attended by Secretary of the Inter-State Council Secretariat (ISCS) K Moses Chalai; Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh, Prabodh Saxena; Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Sudhansh Pant; Chief Secretary of Punjab, KAP Sinha; Principal Secretary NCT of New Delhi, Navin Kumar Choudhary; Adviser UT of Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal; Secretary Planning J&K, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhqry and senior officers from the participating States, Union Territories (UTs), and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
