The DC directed the concerned to immediately take note of the brick kilns that are operating illegally particularly those who have failed to furnish the requisite NOCs from the various line departments in the district.

The DC also urged the concerned to take immediate efforts to stop illegal soil excavation in the district. She said that the excavation should take place only at permitted places and that too after the proper demarcation of the plot by the concerned officials.

Terming the land conversion as a matter of concern, DC directed concerned to stop the illegal construction on the agricultural and horticultural land.

In order to ensure stay of Patwaris in their halqas, the DC directed the concerned officers to maintain a movement registry of Patwaris.

She asked officers to work in tandem with each other as a team for the better and prompt public delivery services.

Taking in depth review of the revenue department, she directed the concerned to maintain separate registry for demarcation, mutation etc and asked concerned to finish the updated status of all Jamabandi and Girdawari records within stipulated time.

She said that the concerned must take strenuous efforts to ensure timely disposal of court cases.

Earlier, DC said that district administration has established a grievance redressal cell for the general public, where they can submit their grievances and complaints. The cell would be supervised by the personal section of the DC and general public can register their complaints on land line number 01951-255203 or on the official mail dcbudgam@gmail.com to get them resolved.

DC said the cell would work round the clock and has been started for better public outreach. She added a separate Cell Number would be published soon for the general public to submit their grievances.
