Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission (JKNHM) Employees Association has extended its warm greetings to Shri Omar Abdullah and the newly sworn-in cabinet ministers following their oath-taking ceremony.
The association expressed optimism about the new leadership’s approach to advancing healthcare in the region.
Muneer Andrabi, the President of the JKNHM Employees Association, conveyed his best wishes to the Omar Abdullah-led government. He voiced confidence in the administration’s commitment to strong governance and highlighted the importance of addressing the needs and aspirations of thousands of healthcare workers under the National Health Mission.
Andrabi underscored the need to prioritize healthcare challenges, especially in remote and underserved areas, and expressed hope that the new leadership would bring about much-needed reforms and support.
Senior Vice President of the association, Altaf Ahmad Bhat, also extended his congratulations to Shri Omar Abdullah and the new cabinet. Bhat expressed hope that long-pending issues concerning the JKNHM employees would be addressed promptly, with long-awaited demands finally being met.
The association remains hopeful that under this new administration, healthcare workers in Jammu and Kashmir will receive the necessary attention and that critical improvements will be made to the region’s healthcare system.
