Srinagar: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) late this evening in the Salosa village of the Kreeri area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official told NVI that a joint team of security forces cordoned off Salosa village following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
He added that the search operation was initiated, and all entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
The official further mentioned that large contingents of forces have been deployed in the area. However, no contact with the militants has been established so far. (NVI)
