Srinagar: A man died while two others were injured after the roof of an under-construction house collapsed in Srinagar’s Downtown.
Reports said that that a man, who was reportedly working as a mason in the under-construction house, died and two workers got injured after the house collapsed in Maharaj Gunj, Srinagar.
The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment, where one of them was declared brought dead on arrival. The other two persons are receiving medical aid.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Ismail Shuloo (58), son of Ghulam Rasool Shuloo. He is survived by his two sons and wife.
Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation, while a wave of sorrow swept the area as people began visiting the deceased’s home to offer condolences.
