Srinagar: An encounter broke out between security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday, police said.
The gunfight started in the Pattan area of the north Kashmir district.
“Encounter has started at Chak Tapper Kreeri Pattan area of #Baramulla,” the Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X.
Police and security forces are on the job and further details shall follow, the police said.
