Pulwama: Akhilesh Kumar, the Police Observer for Pulwama, conducted an extensive visit to the Pampore and Pulwama constituencies today.
During the visit, he inspected several security checkpoints (Nakkas) and reviewed the overall security preparedness in the district ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
He conducted a thorough examination of the 24×7 security nakas at Kandizal and Koil crossings, where he reviewed the operational readiness of the personnel stationed at these critical points.
Akhilesh Kumar also conducted briefings with Road Opening Parties (ROPs) deployed across the Pulwama district, ensuring that all security protocols were in place and adequately followed.
The Police Observer emphasized the importance of maintaining high levels of vigilance and coordination among the security forces to ensure peaceful and secure elections in the district.
