Govt orders transfers in administration

Srinagar: The J&K government on Monday ordered the transfers and postings of two JKAS officers with immediate effect.

As per an official order, Pawan Singh Rathore, Director, Geology and Mining, J&K, has been transferred and shall await further orders of posting in the General Administration Department.

Puneet Sharma, JKAS, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Director, Geology and Mining, J&K.

“He shall also hold the charge of the post of Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” reads the order.
