Srinagar: The School Education Department has ordered the suspension of a lecturer for alleged misconduct.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct, Mr. Nazir-ul-Hussain Shah, Lecturer of Environmental Science under orders of transfer at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sogam Kupwara, is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect, in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1956,” reads an order issued by the School Education Department, a copy of which lies with the news agency Kashmir Scroll.
“During the period of suspension, the said lecturer shall remain attached to the office of the Chief Education Officer, Kupwara,” the order continues.
“It is further ordered that the Director of School Education, Kashmir, shall conduct an inquiry into the misconduct and non-compliance by the said lecturer and shall submit the report along with recommendations to the Administrative Department within 10 days,” the statement concludes. (KS)
