SRINAGAR, JUNE 20: Governor N. N. Vohra has appointed Sh. B.B. Vyas, IAS, Chief Secretary, J&K and Sh. Vijay Kumar, IPS (Retd.) presently serving as Senior Security Advisor, Union Ministry of Home Affairs, as Advisors to the Governor with effect from the date they assume charge. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the terms and conditions of their appointment shall be notified separately.
Meanwhile, consequent upon the availability of his services to the Jammu and Kashmir Government, B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, IAS (CG:1987) has been appointed Chief Secretary, J&K, with immediate effect.
