Srinagar: The body of a man who had jumped into the river Jhelum from Zaina Kadal bridge in Srinagar downtown was retrieved after three days, officials said on Tuesday.
An official said that the body of Showkat Ali Bhat, son of Ghulam Hussain Bhat, a resident of Shallabagh Zadibal, who had jumped into the river Jhelum on July 13, has been retrieved, news agency KNO reported.
He added that the body was spotted by the SDRF, who had been searching for it for the last three days.
Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation.
