SMC ensures seamless observance of 8th Muharram Procession

Srinagar: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) reaffirmed its dedication to ensure seamless observance of the 8th Muharram Procession by providing essential civic facilities and is committed to enhance the overall experience for mourners, the Corporation meticulously monitored and facilitated key amenities during the significant procession.
SMC’s proactive approach including close supervision of sanitation arrangements, provision of drinking water, deployment of mobile toilet vans, and maintenance of street lighting to ensure the safety and comfort of all involved.
The collaborative efforts of designated SMC officials underscored the importance of upholding cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the procession. With a steadfast commitment to improve civic amenities and infrastructure, SMC actively participated in enhancing the overall experience for mourners during the 8th Muharram Procession.
