Srinagar: Two persons were critically injured in a road accident in Krankshivan Colony of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday late afternoon, officials said.
An official said that two persons identified as Imran Ahmed Bhat (16), son of Reyaz Ahmed Bhat, and Adnan Showket (20), son of Showket Ahmed—both the residents of Krankshivan, were injured in a head-on collision between a vehicle and a bike, news agency KNO reported.
He said the injured were immediately shifted to sub-district hospital Sopore, from where they were referred to SKIMS Srinagar.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and a case has been registered.
