Srinagar: A minor girl drowned to death in Nowgam Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
An official said that a minor daughter of Shafeeq Khan, son of Barkat Khan, resident of Khetan Nowgam Handwara drowned in the River Mawar .
He said that her dead body has been retrieved by the locals while police have taken cognizance of the incident, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported.
