Srinagar: A pilgrim died of suspected cardiac arrest near the Amarnath cave shrine in Kashmir on Thursday.
News agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a 48-years-old male pilgrim Sandeep Utaker from Maharashtra suffered a heart attack at the cave.
He fell unconscious and was brought to the medical camp where doctors declared him dead. His body has been shifted to Base Camp Hospital Baltal for subsequent proceedings, the news agency reported.
