Srinagar: On the directions of a court, police in Budgam have affixed a GPS tracking anklet on “terrorist associate” Mudasir Fayaz, accused of aiding terrorists, a police spokesperson informed Saturday.
He said the installation of the GPS tracking anklets on the accused ensures that their movements can be tracked in real-time and their entry into prohibited areas or leaving the geographical boundaries as set by the court order can be monitored.
