SANJY-2024: Rehearsal/Briefing/Interaction among MRT teams held at SDRF 1 Bn Barzulla Baghat

SRINAGAR: J&K SDRF on Monday conducted a Rehearsal/Briefing/Interaction among the MRT teams prior to SANJY-2024, on the event of Joint Dress within the premises of SDRF 1 Bn. Barzulla Baghat Srinagar.

The Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF J&K-Srinagar, Vijay Kumar presided over the event and addressed Officers/Officials and Contingents of SDRF/NDRF/BSF/RAF/JKAP and CRPF.

He highlighted the devotion and dedication while conducting the rescue operations during disasters, as well as the extraordinary performance exhibited during the Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2023.

During the inspection/interaction with the MRT teams deployed for SANJY-2024, the Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF Cum ADGP Armed/(L/O) J&K directed the MRT teams to show extraordinary performance during SANJY duty and remain in close coordination with their team leaders.

He also urged the MRT teams to facilitate Yatri pilgrims at every step, when they are in need of help and remain at their service round the clock.

At the end of the function, Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF J&K-Srinagar along with other senior officers flagged off the MRT teams for SANJY-2024.

Vidhi Kumar Birdhi, IGP Kashmir; Rajiv Omprakash, DIG CKR; Shahid Mehraj, DIG Civil Defense & SDRF; Atul Sharma, SO to Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF J&K-Srinagar; Masroor Ahmad Mir (Commandant SDRF 1 Bn. Srinagar; SDPO Sadar, Mohammad Ashraf Lesserin and other Senior Police officers were present during the event.
