Srinagar: CPI (M) senior leader and former MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami Monday expressed deep shock over ‘unfortunate’ support of US for brutal attacks being carried out by Israel in Palestine.

He appealed to people across the country to rise against such barbarism and demand an immediate end to this genocide.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) Tarigami said: “The bombings in Palestine persist despite widespread international condemnation. The unfortunate support of the US for these brutal attacks against innocent civilians is deeply troubling. People across India must rise against such barbarism & demand an immediate end to this genocide”.

At least 12 people have been killed, including women and children, in fresh overnight attacks by Israeli forces on homes located in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis and Rafah cities, local media reported.
