The University has also launched a four-year undergraduate program (FYUP) in alignment with NEP 2020. Additionally, IGNOU has received approval from UGC and AICTE for four new MBA programs: MBA in Human Resource Management (MBAHRM), MBA in Marketing Management (MBAMM), MBA in Finance Management, and MBA in Operational Management (MBAOM). Besides these, the University continues to offer an MBA in Banking and Finance, an MBA (General) in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, and an MBA (General) in online mode. Admission to any of these seven MBA programs does not require an entrance test.

The revised Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program, now two years in duration, has also been launched with approval from UGC and AICTE. The eligibility criteria have been relaxed, and applicants no longer need to have studied Mathematics at the undergraduate level or take an entrance test for admission.

Regional Director IGNOU Srinagar, Dr. Shahnawaz Dar, informed that information regarding the newly launched and other programs is available on the official IGNOU website and the IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar website (www.rcsrinagar.ignou.ac.in). Interested students can use the Samarth portal (https://ignouadmission.samartha.edu.in/) to apply for any of the programs offered for the July 2024 admission cycle. The last date for fresh admissions is June 30, 2024. Re-registration for the July 2024 session is also ongoing, with the same deadline of June 30, 2024.
