Malla shared his success story with the media, emphasizing the potential for youth in Kashmir to create their own job opportunities. Citing a speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Malla said, “The youth of Kashmir have immense resources to create their own jobs. With this, they can employ others as well. I started keeping bees to demonstrate this potential to the world, and it has brought me great benefits.”

From the 40 quintals of honey produced, Malla has garnered a profit of 40 lakh rupees, showcasing the lucrative potential of apiculture in the region. His success story is an inspiration to many young people in the village and beyond.

Director of Agriculture Kashmir, Mohammad Iqbal Choudhary, praised Malla’s achievements and highlighted the department’s support for local beekeepers. He announced that Chandibugh village has been officially registered as a Beekeeping Village, recognizing its strategic location on the road to Gulmarg and its growing significance in the apiculture industry. “To further promote the village, a signboard will soon be installed on the main road, drawing attention to its thriving beekeeping activities.”
