Inter-school zonal level competitions promote sports & creativity among students in Bla

BARAMULLA: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla, continues to foster a culture of sportsmanship and creativity through month-long inter-school zonal level competitions.

Today marked another milestone with competitions held across three zones viz. Nehalpora, Singhpora Kalan and Baramulla.

Zone Nehalpora hosted thrilling carrom and chess competitions for girls aged 14 and 17 at HSS Nehalpora. Over 50 students from both government and private schools showcased their skills and sportsmanship. The principal HSS Nehalpora emphasized the importance of sports in combating societal challenges like drug addiction and promoting holistic well-being.

In Zone Singhpora Kalan, an exhilarating inter-school painting competition was organized for girls under 14 and 17 years at HS Singhpora Kalan, fostering creativity and artistic expression among the youth.

Meanwhile, Zone Baramulla witnessed a burst of creativity as over 60 participants from various schools showcased their artistic talents in an inter-school painting competition held at BHSS Baramulla.

DYSSO Baramulla expressed his gratitude to the field staff for their unwavering dedication in organizing these events and maintaining discipline throughout. He encouraged continued participation from students, urging them to excel in sports and unleash their creative potential.
