SRINAGAR: About 15000 aspirants today appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at 31 exam centres,

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Sunday undertook a visit to NEET Centers in the district to have a first-hand appraisal of the facilities made available for the smooth conduct of the examination.

The DC inspected various examination centers including SP College, Amar Singh College where he enquired about the facilities made available for the students, and inspected the arrangements, an official spokesman said.

It was informed that about 15000 aspirants appeared in the NEET examination at 31 exam centres.

During the visit, the DC expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the concerned authorities

Notably, Magistrates were deployed at all the examination centers by the District Administration, besides District Police had also put in place all necessary security arrangements for smooth conduct of the examination, said the official spokesman.
