The visitors though had little communication barrier due to different languages, however, their Kashmiri guide facilitated proceedings of the session in Arabic.

The visitors played several games with the children and the children felt elated over the loving nature and treatment of the guests from UAE.

The women group treated the BAITUL HILAL scholars just like their own children and showered immense love and affection upon them during interactive sessions.

The guests gifted tracksuits, sports, edible and other items to over 100 children of three BAITUL HILALs situated in Central, North and South Kashmir.

The guests also donated some cash to the children.

The visitors toured all the rooms and had first-hand accounts of the various facilities of boarding, lodging and education at BAITUL HILAL.

The women guests had ordinary tea with local cookies.

They also recorded their brief encouraging comments in the BAITUL HILAL Guest Visitor Book.

Earlier, Chairman JKYF Mohammad Ahsan Rather welcomed the women visitors and gave a detailed appraisal of the battery of educational, welfare and rehabilitation programmes run by JKYF irrespective of caste, colour, creed, region or religion across Jammu & Kashmir. He sought more interactive sessions from the guests who assured full morale and other support.

The Chairman extended gratitude to the visiting group and requested them to continue their interaction with the children and help them in their education and future careers.

On the occasion, Mr Rather appealed to J&K people to also continue their visits in person to BAITUL HILALs by spending leisure time with orphan children so that they do not develop a sense of seclusion and despair while staying and studying at Orphanages.

Among others who welcomed and received the guests included Incharge BAITUL HILAL Jawahar Nagar Srinagar and JKYF PRO, Mr Bashir Ahmad Bhat, several volunteers and staff at BAITUL HILAL Jawahar Nagar Srinagar.
