Srinagar: A person accused in a stabbing incident last night in Batamaloo area has been identified and arrested, said a police official here.
He said that a person identified as Waseem Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Baranpather was arrested by the police today.
Pertinent to mention here that one Shabir Ahmad from Mehjoor Nagar was subdued and stabbed by the person at Rek Chowk Batamaloo.
The person is being treated at SMHS Hospital with his condition is said to be largely stable.
