Srinagar: An elderly tourist died of possible cardiac arrest in Gulmarg ski resort on Saturday.
News agency Kashmir Scroll reported that one Sudhir Vasant Rao Nikumbh (78), son of Eknath Nikumbh from Pune, Maharashtra, suffered cardiac arrest near Gulmarg Gondola.
“The person, accompanied by his family, was immediately taken to PHC Gulmarg for treatment, where the doctors declared him as dead on arrival,” the sources said.
A case under section 174 CrPC has been initiated, the news agency reported.
