It may be mentioned here that in a tragic incident a 5-year-old girl was snatched from the lawn of her residence in Budgam district by a leopard in the evening hours on Thursday.

The incident took place in the Hariwani area of Budgam, sending shockwaves through the community. Promptly responding to the alarming situation, authorities launched a thorough search operation, deploying police, wildlife teams, and local residents to comb the area and locate the missing child.

The child has been identified as Toiba Mushtaq, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan.
