Srinagar: A young man lost his life in a road accident in Hajibagh HMT area of Srinagar district on Thursday afternoon.
Quoting officials, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that one Zubair Ali (18), son of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi, resident of Hajiveera Baramulla, received critical injuries after being hit by a tipper truck.
He said that the injured youth was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Police have taken cognizance and started investigation while the vehicle has been seized and its driver held.
