Srinagar: Authorities on Sunday stated that due to poor surface conditions, vehicular movement is going on very slowly at Dalwas on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

Officials of J&K Traffic Police advised motorists to follow the lane discipline and avoid overtaking as it will lead to congestion and interruptions into smooth movement of traffic on the highway.

“Vehicular movement is very slow at Dalwas on Jammu-Srinagar NHW due to single lane and poor surface condition of the road,” the officials said.

They advised commuters to follow the lane discipline as overtaking will lead to congestion.

They further said due to road issues at many places on the highway yesterday’s traffic load is yet to be cleared fully.
