Despite the court’s directive, the non-applicants failed to submit the compliance report during the hearing on March 7th. Consequently, the court has issued a show-cause notice to the non-applicants, including the Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti in Kupwara, AEE Jal Shakti in Lolab, and JE Jal Shakti in Wavoora.

These officials are now required to appear in person before the court on March 14th to explain why action has not been initiated against them for non-compliance with court orders. Additionally, the court has instructed the Police Post in Khurhama to provide security assistance to the department during the process of providing the water connection to the petitioner.
