Srinagar: Apni Party senior vice president, Ghulam Hassan Mir, on Saturday, said that youth in Jammu and Kashmir have been falling prey to the emotional sloganeering by traditional political parties.

He emphasized that “the people of J&K need to rid themselves of deceitful narratives and emotional slogans in order to focus on the politics of positivity.”

He made these remarks today while addressing a large public rally in the Hardu Aboora area of Tangmarg, where people thronged to the rally venue to greet Ghulam Hassan Mir and his accompanying leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Our challenge is to save our youngsters from falling victim to the deceptive sloganeering and emotional political narratives perpetuated by traditional political parties.”

“We have already suffered greatly over the past three decades. Hundreds of thousands of our young people have died or been jailed while following misleading political narratives. Our focus must be on positive politics to ensure peace, prosperity, and development in this land. For a better future, Jammu and Kashmir need peace and stability,” he added.
