Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority on Monday issued a medium-danger level avalanche warning for five districts in Jammu and Kashmir.
Avalanche with medium danger level is likely to occur above 2200 metres over Kishtwar, Kupwara, Bandipora and Baramulla districts in the next 24 hours, reads an advisory as per GNS.
Further avalanches with high danger levels are likely to occur above 2200 metres over the Ganderbal district in the next 24 hours.
People living in these areas are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing into the avalanche-prone areas till further orders.
