Srinagar: Senior Congress leader and Member Legislative Council, Mohammad Muzaffar Paray has appreciated the state government’s move to widen the Haigam-Sopore road via Tarzo.
In a statement issued here, Paray said that this move will give this road the status of bye-pass and help the inhabitants economically.
While welcoming the deslitting of nallah Nigli, Paray asked the authorities to keep an eye on the illegal sale of excavated mud.
Paray has also appealed the government to declare Haigam bird sanctuary as national heritage and restore its original status and position.
