2 persons held for issuing fake movement passes in Kathua

Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Baramulla and Kulgam and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Saturday.

He said in Baramulla, one Aqib Nazir Malik, son of Nazir Ahmad Malik of Sangrama Sopore, was arrested at Delina market after 72 capsules of SpasmoProxyvon Plus were recovered from his possession.

In Kulgam, one Mohammad Ramzan Lone, son of Wali Mohammad Lone of Hawoora, was arrested at a checkpoint established at Dalwach crossing after 4 Kg of poppy straw-like substance was recovered from his possession.

Cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police stations for investigation, police said.
