In the joint session all the leaders of united platform showed their serious concern on the pathetic condition of SSA teachers, head teachers and RMSA masters.

The leaders said that unity was the need of the hour and urged upon all the teaching fraternity to exhibit unity at all levels to help the agitating teachers in resolving their legitimate demand of linking of salary to state  sector and their legitimate right of releasing salary as per 7th pay commission in their favour.

Although Wani said that there are positive signals from the education minister about redressing this grave issue, the teacher fraternity will appreciate if the government comes up with concrete and one time solution to this problem.

Wani said that until and unless these issues are not redressed, teachers will continue their struggle.

All the leaders of the United Platform (TJAC) unanimously decided that top brass of TJAC comprising of selected hundred leaders will  organise a silent sit in protest in front of civil Secretariat on 13th of June at 12 noon for redressal of the problems faced by the SSA teachers.
