Dr Farooq pays a courtesy call to Karnataka CM, Dy CM

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah paid a courtesy call to The Chief Minister of Karnataka Honourable Shri Siddaramaiah.

Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq accompanied him on the visit.

During their interaction, they exchanged pleasantries and engaged in discussions on various matters of national and regional importance.

Dr. Abdullah presented him with a globally renowned Papier-mâché Samovar souvenir representing a gesture of affection from the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He urged the Chief Minister to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals from Jammu and Kashmir residing, employed, or engaged in business activities in Karnataka.

He also lauded the ongoing efforts of Karnataka government for the welfare and progress of minorities and other backward classes in the state.

Earlier Dr Farooq also met Dy CM Karnataka DK Shivakumar and discussed issues related to regional and national politics. Dr Farooq presented him with a souvenir of papier machine Samovar.
