Political activists from Karnah, Handwara rally behind PC

Srinagar: Scores of influential political activists from Shaloora Block in the Chowkibal area of Karnah constituency gathered today to endorse the vision and agenda of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference.

The joining ceremony was presided over by PC President Sajad Gani Lone, as he welcomed activists from diverse political backgrounds into the party fold.

“I want to underscore our party’s commitment to public welfare, inclusive development and providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of the affiliations. We envision a progressive and participatory form of governance that leaves no one behind,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, in another joining, former Sarpanch Dahama B Mohammad Ashraf Tantray, along with Haji Abdul Rashid Tantray and Abdul Hamid Tantray from Dahama, Handwara Constituency joined the party cadres in the presence of the PC President.

Extending a welcome to them, the PC President observed that new joinings from across the political spectrum signify growing belief in the party’s agenda focused on equitable growth, social harmony and youth empowerment.

“This grand show of unity here today is genuinely inspiring and evokes hope among the people who have yearned for progress & development. Together, we need to prioritize the well-being of our local communities, laying the groundwork for a fairer and more prosperous future for everyone,” he stated.

He also encouraged party members to harness this surge of support to fulfil the hopes and expectations of all sections of society, aiming for a vibrant and thriving Jammu and Kashmir.

Furthermore, PC General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Handwara Constituency Head Ashiq Hussain also attended the joining ceremonies.
