Srinagar: A 35-years-old man was crushed to death when a few branches from a chinar tree fell over him in Anantnag district.
Kashmir Scroll reported that one Showkat Ahmad Mir, son of Nazir Ahmad Mir of Zalangam Kokernag, came under the branches of a chinar tree at Lokbawa.
He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police said the victim was a woodcutter. A case in this regard has been registered in this regard.
