Srinagar: Fire broke out at an Army shopping complex in Kupwara district, resulting in the destruction of eight shops.
The incident occurred at around 1 o’clock during the preceding night.
Quoting sources, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a fire broke out in the shopping complex of 28 INF. Div (Army Camp) Zangli, Kupwara. Fire and emergency services from the district promptly responded and were able to bring the blaze under control after several hours.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, and an investigation has been launched in this regard, they added.
