Srinagar: Police in Pulwama solved two theft cases in Pulwama by arresting accused persons, and recovered stolen property from their possession.
Sharing details, a police spokesperson said on January 30, Police Station Pulwama received a complaint from Abdul Majeed and Ghulam Rasool Dar about the theft in their apple orchard.
During investigations, one suspect identified as Arif Hussain Dar, son of Abdul Khaliq Dar of Chakoora Arigam was arrested and on his disclosure the stolen items were recovered, police said.
During the investigation of another theft case, one accused identified as Bashir Ahmad Sheikh of Ladermad Awantipora was apprehended, leading to the recovery of stolen items including six Samowars and 14 copper plates at his instance, police said.
