Anantnag: The prominent journalist, poet & writer, Makbool Veeray was remembered on his 4th death anniversary here at Anantnag.
The event was organised by Maraz Writers & Artists guild Anantnag in collaboration with the weekly Shaherbeen.
On the occasion, many prominent personalities shed light on the life of Makbool Veeray and spoke about the philosophy of life and death.
Among the speakers were Zahid Mukhtar, Raja Yousuf, Attah Mohammad Mir, Zafer Farooq Salati, Shakeel Azad, S. Tariq, Rao Farman Ali, Bashir Indrabi, Dr Husrat Hussain, Gulzar Ganie, Tasaduk Rashid, Adil Yousuf.Farooq Shahmiri, Irfani Sajad Vaid. Rayees, Ahmad Kumar.
Meanwhile, “Gousha-e-Maqbool Veeray ” was launched by a weekly newspaper, Shaherbeen.
