CS office bids farewell to the outgoing Chief Secretary

Jammu: The office of the Chief Secretary today bade farewell to the outgoing Chief Secretary, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta on his superannuation at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, an official press release informed.

It said speaking on the occasion Dr Mehta recalled his tenure as the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir and expressed his appreciation to the contribution and support provided by the staff of the office.

Dr. Mehta also acknowledged the contribution of the General Administration Department in promoting coordination within the administrative team of Jammu and Kashmir. He urged upon all officers and support staff to feel proud of the success of their efforts in promoting transparency and efficiency in J&K.

On this occasion, the staff extended warm wishes on retirement filled with health and happiness.

The event was attended by the Special Secretary, Additional Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Private Secretaries besides other gazetted and non-gazetted staff of the twin sections of the Civil Secretariat here.
